Eventually I mean to put up all the blogs (and blog-like things) I follow that I feel you, in turn, should follow. I’ll add a few at a time, rather than spend a day dumping them all on here, so just bide your time.
The Animanachronism: What, do I have to annotate all of these? Seriously, you know about this blog already.
Anime wa Bakuhatsu da: As OGT’s header tells you, exploding quietly is preferred over there. Aside from being a nice joke, that’s actually pretty telling. OGT is kind, loving, and respectful of his anime and the otaku-rhombus. One wonders how in Thor’s teeth we get along, as I am none of these things. However, we generally do, and I recommend you go over there right now and read whatever lovable post is current on his page. OGT tends toward what the twitter-mind told me, once, is “editorial”; that is, he doesn’t use all that many external references. This is not a problem.
Ogiue Maniax: I “met” SDShamshel, basically, through the Super Fanicom Voice Module. He is fun, amusing, and smart — and his interests can vary so wildly from stereotype sometimes that it’s funny just to see what he posts on. Then it’s good to read that post, as it’s going to make sense of something you likely hadn’t thought much about before. He’s also the author of The Fujoshi Files, a series of posts that (perhaps appropriately?) smacks of the Red Shoe Diaries. Perhaps he should have called it The Red Glasses Diaries. Or maybe I’ll do that.
Super Fanicom: This is a bit of a whorish one, but not too much. I post at this site as well, you see, but you should go check it out for @Pontifus, @lelangir, @kaiserpingvin, @ghostlightning, and (eventually, so he says) @onegreatturtle. They’re all smart and we all manage to have interests different enough that we aren’t just the same person (though @Pontifus aspires to be my doppelganger, see the Christmas 2008 posts).
